About Us
' RAISE' is a new and unique online grief community, providing an alternative viewpoint on death, grief and loss, inspiring and empowering people to find their own, healthy, way of healing grief by sharing experiences, tool and techniques. The community is hosted by writer, Hannah Velten, whose brother, Christian, went missing in Mali, Africa in 2003. It took 16 years for her to find full healing and closure from his loss and now helps others see the death of their loved one as an opportunity to rise and grow, a precious gift not to be squandered.
